Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida dedicates its new 3.5 Million Dollar Building.
Rabbi Yitzchok & Nechamie Minkowicz Shluchim of the Rebbe to Southwest Florida held a Dedication Dinner for their New 11,000 square foot Jewish Community Center home for Chabad & Maimonides Hebrew Day School on their 3.5 Acre campus.
The event was a huge success with a Gourmet Dinner, a ribbon cutting ceremony, affixing of Mezuzot, a tour of the building & the unveiling of the Virtual 3D Dedication wall.
A special program in the New Shul that began with a Choir from the children of Maimonides Hebrew Day School & teachers Rebetzin Rivky Labkowski & Rebetzin Sheina Jacobson the children sang beautiful songs & presented The School Director & visionary Rebetzin Nechamie Minkowicz with each child giving her a Flower.
Rabbi Yitzchok & Nechamie Minkowicz spoke & shared with the crowd how he met a Jew that morning in costco who told him that when he first met the Rabbi & Rebetzin 20 years ago he thought they were Jews for Christianity & started to cry how ignorant he was then & now he says the “The future of Judaisim is Chabad” Rabbi Minkowicz thanked the Donors & presented them with a gift of writing a New Torah & gave them the honor of writing in the First Letters in the Torah with the help of the Shliach & Sofer Rabbi Yossi Srugo.
Dr. Daniel Dosoretz introduced Tray Radel who gave warm greetings & blessings to the Donors & the community.
Dr. James Rubenstein introduced Rabbi Yossi Denburg from Coral Springs who spoke about Chabad staring from nothing & with all the challenges Chabad continues to grow & is a huge positive force in the community.
The Building Donors as well as the community were invited to write letters in the Torah as well as special guests that flew in for the event the Rabbis father Rabbi Leima Minkowicz who made the first flight out after hurricane Sandy hit NY & a Freind drove him to the airport as no one had Gas for their vehicles the Rabbis brother Rabbi Hirshy Minkowicz Shliach in Alpheretta Georgia & the Rabbis sister Mrs. Gitty Rosenfeld the Principal of the Online Shluchim School run by the Shluchim office the Local Shluchim Rabbi Mendy & Luba Greenberg of Bonita Springs, Rabbi Yossi & Rivky Labkowski of Cape Coral & Rabbi Simon & Sheina Jacobson of Charlotte County were given the Honor of writing letters in the new Torah.
